What are your business hours?

We are open Monday-Friday 7.30 AM - 4.30 PM. We are closed on all major holidays.

Payment information:

Payment is due before or at time of service. We accept cash and checks.

What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?

Maid It is closed on all major holidays. We will call you at least 2 weeks before to arrange another cleaning appointment.

What should I do to prepare before the cleaning team arrives?

We ask that you take a few minutes to pick up clothing, toys, dirty dishes and other misc. items. A few minutes of your time before we arrive will allow your Maid It team to focus on cleaning, rather than picking up.

Can you give me a definite appointment time?

We can give you a window of two (2) hours for an arrival time. Conditions such as traffic, weather, or a lockout can delay or advance your team schedule. We will call you when your team is on their way.

What if something is broken in my home?

Your team will leave you a note and notify the office. Please give us a call when you receive the note and we will make arrangements for handling the matter. We cannot be responsible for damage resulting from loose/wobbly table legs or pictures/shelves not properly secured to walls.

Will my price ever change?

Yes, we will evaluate the cost of cleaning your home and if needed we will increase your price. Changes such as new furniture, new baby, marriage, remodelling ect. may also affect your price. Please inform the office of these changes.

What if an employee is injured while cleaning my home?

Maid It carries full Workers Compensation Coverage. Rest assured we will take care of all paperwork and medical details. However, our insurance does not cover injuries outside of your home. As a homeowner you can be held liable for injuries resulting from a home owners negligence, such as a slip/fall on un-shoveled/un-salted driveway, walkways, steps or porches ect.

I have pets; do I need to do anything special?

We do not clean up any pet excrements for sanitary reasons. If for any reason the team feels threatened, we will not be able to clean until the animal is removed or restrained.

Can I change my cleaning schedule?

Yes, you can. Please call the office. Our cleaning teams are not authorized to make any scheduling changes.

What if bad weather is forecasted?

If the roads are cleared by 11 am, we will send our team to your home. You will be called and rescheduled if we find it is unsafe for our teams to be out on the roads.

What is expected of me if it snows?

We would appreciate it if you have your driveway and walk cleared with at least a path and salted if necessary.

Are there any other fees?

A returned check fee is $30. A lockout fee is $50 if you choose not to provide a key. To insure added security all keys are coded and returned to the office nightly.

Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?

Give us a call within 24 hours and we will re-clean the area at no charge.
